There are many ways to define Leadership. However, the most outcome-oriented definition of leadership in corporate world is to influence others in such a way that they deliver a level of higher performance and attain maximum possible growth. This four-hours online training on Leadership Excellence focuses on enabling the current and potential leaders on how to influence others using a cognitive mental mapping model around a specific situation to determine the leadership needs of the situation, accounting for the performance levels of individuals. Based on extensive research on outcome-based approach towards Leadership, this program uses a time-tested framework to trains you on how to adapt your patterns of Leadership behaviors according to the various changing situations at the workplace to achieve Leadership Excellence.
In short, if organizational leaders use a focused approach and account for the Context, Situation and Resources, then they can influence their team members to deliver a higher level of performance with higher level of commitment, which ultimately helps the organization in achieving its goals.
Shuja Shams is a Management & Leadership Development Consultant. He has more than twenty years of professional work experience, primarily in the areas of Human Resource Management and Operations Management. Starting his career with ICI Pakistan Limited as a Management Trainee in 1997, he has also worked for other prestigious organizations including Engro and Mobilink on various local and international assignments at senior management level. Shuja’s last assignment was with Mobilink as Director HR Business Partners. At Mobilink, Shuja also worked in Amsterdam on an international assignment with Veon (Mobilink’s principal) with Group HR as HR Project Leader and conducted project rollout workshops at other international business units of Veon at Amsterdam, Rome, Moscow, Kiev, Astana and Dhaka.
Shuja is also associated with IBA Karachi as a visiting faculty and conducts lectures on Strategic Human Resource Management, Organizational Development, and Organizational Behavior & Leadership.
Currently Shuja works as CEO and Principal Consultant at Excepace Consulting. He is also a certified Ken Blanchard’s Trainer on the following international training programs: Situational Leadership, Coaching Essentials, Building Trust and Blanchard Management Essentials.
After attending this online training, participants will:
- Learn about various Leadership approaches, and the right Leadership approach for them to maximize the engagement and motivation of the staff they lead.
- Learn to maximize the performance output of their staff they lead through appropriate leadership communication and behavior.
- Learn to assess and map the Leadership needs of their staff according to their performing point on the learning curve.
- Learn a cognitive-mental-mapping based Leadership framework to adopt a common language and approach to leadership that cuts across the culture of their organization.
Who Should Attend?
- This four-hours focused training is designed for all established and emerging leaders. Nomination of mid to senior management level employees is recommended.
Training will be split into two sessions of two hours each to be conducted on Saturday and Sunday, on every weekend during the month of July 2020.
