Inspired by the Harvard Negotiation Project, The Institute of Business Administration (IBA) Karachi, through its Center for Executive Education (CEE), has launched the IBA Alternative Dispute Resolution International Center (IBA ADRIC). IBA ADRIC focuses on negotiation and conflict resolution This initiative aims to promote mediation as an effective means of resolving disputes, particularly in the civil and commercial sectors.
Our Mission
IBA ADRIC seeks to implement both court-based and non-court-based practices of dispute resolution and negotiation. Our efforts include working on real-world disputes, improving conflict intervention methods, providing education and training and disseminating conflict resolution techniques and practices.
Why ADRIC?
The Pakistani court system faces a backlog of millions of cases, resulting in lengthy delays and high costs. Traditional litigation is often slow and expensive for businesses and individuals. IBA ADRIC offers a faster and more cost-effective approach to resolving commercial disputes through mediation and negotiation.
