April 09, 2023: IBA-CEE PGD Program Office organized a full-day CPFR Simulation session, moderated by Dr. Rameez Khalid and Mr. Faisal Jalal on Sunday, April 9th, 2023. Participants were separated into two supply chain teams Alpha and Beta, they were rigorously involved in the session by observing order forecasts, timely deliveries, week-by-week lead times, excess stocks, and stock-outs. The main highlight of the session was the agreement of CPFR between all the stages of the supply chains. PGD Program office at IBA Karachi is intending to plan more simulations to augment experimental learning routes in the program. The event concluded with an evaluation session with PGD-SCM and PM participants who applauded witnessing the significance of partnership/integration in SCM.
The event was a great success, and participants left with a deeper understanding of CPFR and its potential benefits. They also had the opportunity to network with other professionals in the industry and share their experiences and insights.
