March 29 & 30, 2022: CEE at the IBA Karachi hosted a two-day workshop on 'Corporate Governance Regulatory Framework for Banks and DFIs' on March 29 & 30, 2022.
This workshop was designed to enhance the understanding about corporate governance in general, especially after State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) issued the revised 'Corporate Governance Regulatory Framework' on November 22 , 2021, with the objective to further strengthen the corporate governance regime of banks and DFIs and to align the same with international standards and best practices. The main objective of this training was to update participants about Banking Regulations including Digital Banking framework and Building Equalities policy. Participants included presidents, departmental heads of compliance, risk, internal audit & finance, etc.
