January 27, 2024: IBA City Campus, Karachi, January 27, 2024 - The Institute of Business Administration (IBA) City Campus had the honor of hosting Mr. Mian Muhammad Imran, Additional Joint Director of the AML department at the Security Exchange of Pakistan (SECP), for an insightful Guest Speaker Session on the topic of "Anti-Money Laundering Eco System: The Regulator Perspective."
The session, organized by the Center for Executive Education (CEE) at IBA Karachi, took place on January 27, 2024. Mr. Mian's expertise and wealth of experience provided the audience with valuable insights into the nuances of anti money laundering from a regulator's standpoint.
The event commenced with a warm welcome by Mr. Rahat Aziz, Lead Faculty of the Diploma in Corporate Laws, who gave a brief introduction about the diploma program and introduced Mr. Nouman Akhtar, Faculty Member of the Diploma in Corporate Laws. Mr. Akhtar then introduced Mr. Mian Muhammad Imran as the distinguished guest speaker and invited him to share his expertise and knowledge with the eager audience.
The interactive session allowed participants to engage in a lively Question and Answer segment at the end, where they had the opportunity to pose inquiries directly to Mr. Imran. This exchange further enriched the learning experience for all in attendance.
Mr. Rahat Aziz and Mr. Nouman Akhtar expressed gratitude on behalf of the institution and presented a vote of thanks to Mr. Imran, acknowledging his valuable contributions to the session. A memento was also presented to Mr. Imran as a token of appreciation.
