The LEAP program, Cohort 4, was a significant and enriching experience for the 30 skilled officers from diverse departments of OGDCL. Hosted at the IBA office in Islamabad, the program aimed to refine their leadership abilities and foster positive changes in their professional spheres.
Throughout the intensive two-week program, participants were exposed to various aspects of leadership, including best practices, emotional intelligence, soft and functional skills, and effective strategies through Action Learning. Additionally, the incorporation of a LEGO Serious Play module likely contributed to enhancing critical decision-making and problem-solving skills.
The distinguished facilitators, including Dr. Hilal Anwer Butt, Dr. Khurram Jehangir Sharif, Dr. Sharjeel Hasnie, Dr. Asad Ilyas, Barrister Mahreen Khan , Dr. Muhammad Wasif and Mr. Salman Shehzad provided valuable insights and guidance throughout the program.
The program concluded with a meaningful certificate distribution ceremony held on December 15th, 2023, at the IBA office in Islamabad, graced by the presence of esteemed leaders from OGDCL, including Dr. Khalid Amin (GM Services) & Dr. Sohail Anwar (GM Projects), and representative from IBA, Mr. Bilal Ahmed Syed, Manager BD CEE.
In his expression of gratitude, Dr. Khalid Amin & Dr. Kamran acknowledged the program's potential to empower OGDCL officers with the necessary skills and knowledge for effective leadership in their roles and careers. Undoubtedly, the LEAP program has laid a strong foundation for these officers to excel as exemplary leaders within OGDCL and the broader industry.
