The Learning Excellence for Accelerated Progression (LEAP) program, Cohort 6, proved to be a transformative experience for 30 proficient officers representing various departments within OGDCL. The program, hosted at the IBA office in Islamabad, focused on honing leadership skills and instigating positive changes in the professional realms of the participants.
Over the intensive two-week duration, participants delved into diverse facets of leadership, encompassing best practices, emotional intelligence, soft and functional skills, and effective strategies through Action Learning. Notably, the incorporation of a LEGO Serious Play module further contributed to refining critical decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
The program boasted distinguished facilitators, including Dr. Sana Tauseef, Dr. Khurram Jehangir Sharif, Dr. Sharjeel Hasnie, Dr. Asad Ilyas, Barrister Mahreen Khan, and Dr. Nadeem Kureshi, who provided invaluable insights and guidance.
The culmination of the program was marked by a significant certificate distribution ceremony on January 19th, 2024, at the IBA office in Islamabad. Esteemed leaders from OGDCL, including Mr. Omair Kamran Sr. Corporate Affairs Officer (OGTI)/ Focal Person Soft skills Training, Director CEE, Mr. Kamran Bilgrami, and Manager Business Development Mr. Bilal Ahmed Syed graced the occasion.
Expressing gratitude, Mr. Omair Kamran & Mr. Kamran Bilgrami acknowledged the program's potential to empower OGDCL officers with essential skills and knowledge for effective leadership in their roles and careers. Undoubtedly, the LEAP program has laid a robust foundation for these officers to emerge as exemplary leaders within OGDCL and the broader industry.
