August 21 to 25, 2023: CEE at IBA organized a Customized 'Master Training Program on Public Financial Management' for the Faculty of Balochistan Civil Services Academy (BCSA) from August 21 to 25, 2023.
The program focused on enhancing the BCSA faculty’s skills to teach Public Financial Management by modern teaching methodologies including case studies, simulations, and exercises. This intensive training was meticulously structured to empower participants with in-depth knowledge and teaching methodologies in the realm of Public Financial Management.
Distinguished faculty members delved into crucial topics such as the Political Economy of Financial Management, the PFM Act's federal vs. provincial aspects, Tax and Non-Tax Revenue Mobilization (with a focus on Balochistan), and more. Renowned experts like Dr. Kaiser Bengali and Dr. Ishrat Husain shed light on the political economy's role in decision-making. Participants also honed their skills in developing teaching cases, methods, and assessment tools.
