September 8 & 15, 2021: Skills Development Program at the CEE conducted a two-day workshop for the senior management of 1LINK on Negotiation & Conflict Resolution Skills at IBA City Campus.
14 nominated participants from department of Compliance Investment & Legal Affairs, Shared Services, Operations/BD, CIO, Internal Audit, Risk Management & Corporate Affairs, CEO Secretariat, Business Development, and Finance attended the training.
The workshop focused on developing an effective plan and strategy for any negotiation, different strategies to negotiate in person, on the phone, individually and in teams, building creative solutions to challenging scenario, etc. The workshop was full of scenario-based activities, discussions, and videos.
The workshop was conducted by Dr. Huma Naz Baqai, an Associate Professor of Social Sciences and Liberal Arts at IBA Karachi. She has also served as an Associate Dean, Faculty of Business Administration.
