May 16 to 21, 2022: A six-day customized training program on 'Procurement and Contract Management' was hosted at the IBA City Campus by Center for Executive Education, IBA, Karachi. This program was designed for trainee officers of 1st Senior Management Course (SMC), Training Management & Research Wing (TMR), Services, General Administration and Coordination Department (SGA&CD), Govt. of Sindh.
Grade 19 Govt. officers attended the training, belonging to different departments of Govt. of Sindh, including but not limited to the Secondary Education and Literacy Department, Universities and Board Department, Sindh Food Authority Excise, Taxation & Narcotics Control Department, Karachi Chief Minister Secretariat, Governor's Secretariat Sindh, Finance Department etc.
Team CEE organized this workshop on understanding generally "Procurement and Contract Management" and specifically "Public Procurement Framework and Regulations in Sindh". The major goal of this training was to comprehend the strategic implications of various decisions related to procurement and propose strategies that professionals can implement in their job positions. The program provided the government officers with a solid understanding of "Procurement Management under SPPRA" through examples and case studies. All faculty involved in this program are certified by SPPRA for the Procurement Management.
