Diploma in Taxation

January 23, 2024: Our diligent students from IBA's Diploma in Taxation had an insightful experience at the SRB Tribunal at PRC Towers. They witnessed first hand proceedings of the SRB Tribunal trial court, gaining valuable knowledge on case analysis procedures, appeal filing, finalization of decisions by the Tribunal, and essential considerations for both taxpayers and departments.

Highlights of the day:

• Observing the meticulous measures taken in handling cases
• Understanding the step-by-step process of filing an appeal with necessary documents
• Understanding the honourable decisions taken by the esteemed judges including the imposition of penalties for the case at hand
• Having insightful discussions on the responsibilities of the taxpayers and department representatives

A special lunch was organized with the esteemed Judge - Justice (Retd) Nadeem Azhar Siddiqui and Registrar - Imtiaz Ali Abro. Our students had the unique opportunity to engage in a lively Question and Answer session with the judges.
