The successful transition from the founding generation to the next generation is a multi-layered and complex process. Family business governance education helps families learn of frameworks and tools needed for growth and successful multi-generational transitions.
The highly interactive workshop emphasizes learning through lateral thinking and peer to peer networking. In this workshop, experiential exercises such as "Design your own family constitution" will empower participating families to initiate governance conversations within their own families.

Workshop delivery approach
A highly interactive and practical content delivery format will be used. Blended approach with emphasis on ‘experiential’ learning will be utilized to create a solid base for knowledge sharing. Effective attention generation and total engagement tools will facilitate real time learning. No prior workshop preparation will be required. All the materials will be provided during the workshop. However, some evening work may be a part of the workshop!

Aysha Anas Iftikhar is the founding Program Director, Family Managed Business Program at the Center for Executive Education, IBA. She has over 19 years of rich experience working in the learning and development Industry.
Aysha is a member of the 3rd generation, of a family business and is a mentor, and trusted advisor to over 100 family business owners and next gen on governance and the family constitution. Her interactions with owners and next gen have enabled her to create grounded insights into family business psychology, traits and style of thinking/decision making, conflict resolution, and family influence.
She writes on topics impacting family business and conducts advocacy sessions for leading business communities. Aysha is a speaker at chambers, associations, educational institutes, and international family business conferences. Aysha has taught at the undergraduate and graduate level at the IBA and regularly conducts soft skills and research workshops with international clients, leading national companies, Govt. and educational institutions.
Aysha is a gold medalist and position holder from the IBA and is also the recipient of a post graduate research scholarship from NUFFIC (Netherlands Organization for Cooperation in Higher Education). She is an MPhil in Economics and is a Certified Director.

Postponement
Due to any unavoidable circumstances, the workshop may be postponed by the institute. In case of postponement, the institute will refund full fee of the program or the participant may opt to defer his/her registration to the next program.
Substitute
Substitutes will be taken at least 2 days prior to the workshop. Should we be unable to accept your application for any reason, your payment (cheque/draft) will be returned to you.
Deferrals
All registrations deferrals must be requested in writing at least 2 days prior to the workshop. Send a note to the Program Registration Team indicating that you wish to have your registration deferred to another session of the same program within one year. The deposited fee will be carried forward. Please note that only one transfer is permitted. After one year, the deposited fee will be fully forfeited.
