September 9, 2023: PGD-SCM and PM 2022 & 2023 participants visited the renowned organization "DP World's Qasim International Container Terminal". The primary purpose of the visit was to minimize the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical implementation of different logistics concepts. The visit further developed an association between academia and industry. During the visit, participants were briefed by QICT Shift Manager, about the handling, storage, loading, and unloading of containers to and from merchant ships. The participants thoroughly appreciated the visit for its learning and exposure.
