IBA-ADRIC hosted the International Mediators’ Training Program in Lahore

With participants ranging from Senior Legal Counsels, HR Professionals, Company Secretaries, and Advocates of the Supreme and High Courts to key representatives from the Power Sector, this cohort marks a pivotal shift in Pakistan’s Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) landscape.

Lahore, previously underserved in terms of accredited mediators, now stands empowered with a new generation of trained professionals, committed to promoting amicable, effective, and time-efficient dispute resolution practices.

Under the expert guidance of renowned international trainers Emma McAndry and District Judge Raja Sufyan, the program delivered deep insights, practical skills, and global best practices in mediation. This initiative represents a significant step forward in institutionalizing mediation in Pakistan and supporting efforts to reduce the overwhelming burden on the judiciary.

As ADRIC continues to build capacity across sectors, this program reaffirms its commitment to bridging gaps in justice delivery through dialogue, collaboration, and capacity development.

Here’s to a future of collaboration, efficiency, and effective access to justice in Pakistan!
