Shahzeb Jillani
Shahzeb Jillani is a multimedia journalist with world’s leading broadcasters in senior editorial and managerial roles. He has a track record of producing compelling, high quality, original content for digital, TV and radio. Mr. Jillani has an extensive experience in covering elections, natural disasters, militancy, and interviewing news makers while reporting from the US, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Brazil, Venezuela, Cuba, and the Guantanamo Bay. He was associated as an editor and correspondent for BBC, as a Senior Executive Editor for Dunya News TV and was most recently working as a Senior Editor at DW News, Germany.

Amber Rahim Shamsi
Amber Rahim Shamsi is the Director, Centre for Excellence in Journalism (CEJ) at the Institute of Business Administration (IBA). Ms. Shamsi is an award-winning multimedia journalist, political commentator, and free speech advocate, with wide-ranging experience in television, radio, online and print media. She is also an International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) and an International Centre for Excellence in Journalism (ICFJ) Digital fellow. Ms. Shamsi has participated thrice in the Jinnah Institute's India-Pakistan Track II Chaophraya Dialogue as an Emerging Leader. She has hosted three news and current affairs shows on mainstream Pakistani news channels and continues to appear on international and national television channels as a political analyst. She was a bilingual reporter for the BBC World Service, where her work largely focused on human rights. She has also written four research reports and training manuals on women in the media, gender, and conflict reporting. She is a certified e-trainer and is on the advisory boards of Lok Sujaag, an alternative media platform, and the Pakistan Press Foundation, a media development organization. IBA CEE Cancellation Policy for Open Enrollment Programs:

In the event of participant's cancellation, the following schedule will apply:

• 5 days before start of workshop - No cancellation
• Within 4 to 2 days prior to workshop Half program fee forfeiture
• Within 1 day and No Shows - Full program fee forfeiture

Cancellation notification must be made in writing to CEE.

Postponement
Due to any unavoidable circumstances, the workshop may be postponed by the institute. In case of postponement, the institute will refund full fee of the program or the participant may opt to defer his/her registration to the next program.

Substitute
Substitutes will be taken at least 2 days prior to the workshop. Should we be unable to accept your application for any reason, your payment (cheque/draft) will be returned to you.

Deferrals
All registrations deferrals must be requested in writing at least 2 days prior to the workshop. Send a note to the Program Registration Team indicating that you wish to have your registration deferred to another session of the same program within one year. The deposited fee will be carried forward. Please note that only one transfer is permitted. After one year, the deposited fee will be fully forfeited.
