March 19, 2022: Students of PGD Supply Chain and Project Management along with BBA final year students of Supply Chain visited the Agility warehouse on Superhighway on 19th March 2022. The visit was organized by Visiting Faculty Adnan Ahmed and Naeem Malik, who is a PGD Supply Chain Graduate himself as well as the former COO for Agility Pakistan. The objective was to give students a practical exposure of a world class warehousing and transport facility. The 25 strong group was greeted by Mr. Malik Asif, who is the Regional Head South for Agility. Mr. Asif and his team spoke about Agility’s large portfolio which includes 4PL and 3PL activities – Warehousing, Freight Forwarding, Custom Brokerage and Road Freight. Agility has over 15 warehouses nationwide. They serve over 200 customers including MNCs and almost all blue-chip companies. The students took a round of the facility and were exposed to the best practices of Storage, Warehousing as well Safety, Health and Environment. They were also shown the fleet management tracking software. The students appreciated the learnings and the time given by the Agility Management who offered to organize a trip to their Port Qasim warehouse next time.
