From launching the iconic Peak Freans Sooper to pioneering Theatrical Learning in Pakistan's banking sector, her innovative approach has left an indelible mark. Her leadership in building the HBL Pakistan Super League into the powerhouse it is today, and her success in establishing retail outlets for a beauty brand, showcases a blend of strategic vision and practical execution. Her passion for learning, teaching, and music underscores a multifaceted personality that thrives on continuous growth and excellence.
Dr Nida Aslam Khan
Assistant Professor and Chairperson, Marketing Department, SBS IBA
Nida Aslam Khn is the Chairperson and Assistant Professor Department of Marketing at SBS IBA Karachi. Her research dives into consumer insights, research challenges and nuances into purpose driven brands. She is also a solution-oriented researcher, perceptive enthusiastic educationist and case study writer. Dr Nida Aslam Khan has been associated as a faculty at IBA Karachi for almost 2 decades. She is an IBA alum of year 2004 and has been part of number of consultancy projects, including Women X Enclude program as part of USA initiative for women entrepreneurs. Dr Khan has represented Pakistan and IBA Karachi on number of international academic platforms, showcasing Pakistani brands.
Salman Sarwar Butt
Chief Executive Officer, Green Peak International Pvt., Ltd.
Salman brings over 35 years of experience in Retail Banking in Pakistan and Indonesia. He has worked with Citibank N.A., and held C-suite positions in ABN AMRO, Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) & NIB as Group Head Retail & Consumer Banking. He is the CEO of Green Peak International Pvt., Ltd., (GPI) a company he founded in 2011, which provides consulting & HR services to the financial industry. Salman is also serving on the Board of Mobilink Microfinance Bank since 2020.
He initiated the ABN AMRO sponsorship for PCBs Domestic Cricket in 2003/4, where ABN AMRO became the Title Sponsors for all premier domestic tournaments. As part of this initiative the PCB & ABN AMRO launched the 1st National T20 Tournament in 2003/04, which was an astounding success & saw full a house in the first year! Subsequently the National T20 Tournament became a marque event for the PCB attracting high number of eyeballs and footfalls every year for the next 10 years! In 2013 & 2015, Salman worked with the PCB as Consultant & Managing Director to launch the Pakistan Super League in 2015/16. The PSL has since become a landmark sports product in the history of Pakistani sports, generating record high revenues in the first year which quadrupled in the subsequent 9years. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from Oberlin College, Ohio, USA. He also holds a Diploma in Economics from the University of Kent at Canterbury, UK. He represented the University of Kent at Canterbury in Cricket and Squash and went onto play for the England Universities Combined Cricket Team in 1988/89, in the British Universities Sports Federation Cricket Tournament (BUSF).
IBA CEE Cancellation Policy for Open Enrollment Programs:
In the event of participant's cancellation, the following schedule will apply:
Cancellation notification must be made in writing to CEE.
Postponement
Due to any unavoidable circumstances, the workshop may be postponed by the institute. In case of postponement, the institute will refund full fee of the program or the participant may opt to defer his/her registration to the next program.
Substitute
Substitutes will be taken at least 2 days prior to the workshop. Should we be unable to accept your application for any reason, your payment (cheque/draft) will be returned to you.
Deferrals
All registrations deferrals must be requested in writing at least 2 days prior to the workshop. Send a note to the Program Registration Team indicating that you wish to have your registration deferred to another session of the same program within one year. The deposited fee will be carried forward. Please note that only one transfer is permitted. After one year, the deposited fee will be fully forfeited.
