The Final Presentations of Diploma in Employment Laws & Industrial Relations (Batch 2)

The Final Presentations of Diploma in Employment Laws & Industrial Relations (Batch 2) took place on February 9, 2020. The ceremony was graced with the presence of prominent chief guests: Mr. Mazhar Ali Nasir, CEO Star Group of Companies and Member of IBA's BoGs, Ms. Iffat Malik, Additional Secretary, P&D Department, Govt. of Sindh and Dr. Izhar Hussain, Director, Department of Business and Health Management at Dow University Hospital.

The guests were attending the final presentations being the judges. The session was also attended by the family members of the program participants. The ceremony began with a warm welcome by Mr. Muhammad Abdul Rehman, Executive CEE, followed by the recitation of the Holy Quran by Mr. Farrukh, Diploma ELIR Student. Mr. Jami Moiz, Director CEE then gave a welcome note to the guests and the students and introduced the judges to the other guests and participants.

After all presentations were delivered, the judges compiled the results and Mr. Mazhar Ali Nasir announced the top scorer and gave some tips to the students as to how they can further improve their communication/presentation skills. Ms. Aisha Bela Malik extended a thank you note to the judges and the souvenirs were presented by Mr. Jami Moiz to the esteemed judges.

Ms. Sidra Iqbal, Renowned Anchorperson and Positive Change Activist was also invited for a guest speaker session, which followed the result announcement. She was welcomed by Mr. Muhammad Abdul Rehman and was invited to take charge of the podium. Being an incredible speaker herself, she gave an excellent presentation on the topic of "Communication Skills". Ms. Iqbal received a lot of appreciation by the students towards the end of her presentation. Last but not the least, a souvenir was presented to Ms. Sidra Iqbal by Mr. Fasih ul Karim Siddiqui, Secretary General of Employers' Federation of Pakistan followed by the group photograph and refreshments.
