Orientation Ceremony for Diploma in Taxation (Batch - 2)

October 17, 2020: The Center for Executive Education (CEE), IBA, Karachi warmly welcomed its second batch of students in Diploma Program of Taxation through an orientation ceremony.

The objective of this diploma is to provide knowledge of interacting with tax authorities regarding tax compliance & adjudication, draft replies to queries raised by the tax authorities. It also provides participants the ability to determine the tax obligations under the tax laws applicable with respect to basic to medium level complex business and non-business transactions.

Following a hybrid learning system, the orientation kicked off with a brief introduction on all aspects of IBA. Mr. Munawar Jamal, Manager Business Development at CEE welcomed both online and class-room participants, briefing them about the IBA code of conduct, community, academic calendar, attendance, grading rules, and affiliations. Later, Mr. Muhammad Abdul Rehman, Executive at CEE-IBA delivered an overview of Diploma in Taxation. Following the address by Mr. Rehman, the demonstration of Learning Management System was presented by Mr. Zeeshan Ali, ERP Support Executive and IBA.
