Interactive Lecture "Reinvent: A Leader's Playbook for Serial Success" by Mr. Fred Hassan
On December 13, 2016, the Center for Executive Education IBA, hosted an interactive video conference session on leadership ideas from his book 'Reinvent: A Leader's Playbook for Serial Success' by Mr. Fred Hassan at JS Auditorium, IBA City Campus, Karachi.
The program was attended by 150 plus senior level executives of different organizations including 15 plus CEOs of Leading Pharma and other organizations.
The session revolved around leadership, goal setting and team building. The program ended with a great lesson for CEOs that they must set clear expectations and must create an environment of learning and innovation and must build a culture of getting things done.
Mr. Fared Hassan in his extensive career has headed large organizations which have made progress under his reign. He has helped 'turn-around' and 'reinvent' dying companies through traditional and non-traditional approaches. In this age of disruptive change, few global managers can match Farid Hassan's unique record of turnarounds and transformations. He initiated his professional career with a multi-national fertilizer company, and throughout his stellar career he has led large, complex and innovation-driven companies--Sandoz, Wyeth, Pharmacia and Upjohn, and Pharmacia and Schering-Plough. Farid Hassan's most recent success, as Chairman of the previously challenged Bausch + Lomb, brings his success record to seven serial reinventions. In January 2014, a panel at the world's leading business TV group CNBC, named Farid Hassan among its list of those who have had the most profound influence in the world of business, in the past quarter century. Currently, Farid Hassan is Partner and Managing Director at Warburg Pincus in NYC, a global private equity company. He serves on the board of Time Warner, Amgen and Intrexon.
