Orientation Ceremony of Diploma Programs

The Center for Executive Education (CEE), IBA, Karachi warmly welcomed its Freshmen through an orientation ceremony of Diploma Programs in the following domains:

Diploma in Accounting, Finance & Law
Diploma in Capital Markets (In collaboration with Institute of Financial Markets of Pakistan (IFMP))
Diploma in Strategic Marketing

The objective of launching these diploma programs is to develop highly skilled practitioners with an in-depth understanding of strategic, tactical and operational issues due to disruptive dynamism, familiarize the participants with the best practices in the industry (both local and international). These programs will cultivate visionary anticipation skills required for successful management, impart study techniques that will help prepare participants for the International certificate examinations when applied. The programs will also help participants acquire tools of leadership, problem-solving & decision making and establish the cost of leadership.

Orientation Ceremony for Diploma in Strategic Marketing was held on August 24, 2019. Whilst, the Orientation Ceremony for Diploma in Accounting, Finance and Law (Basic Module) and Diploma in Capital Market (Basic Module) was held on August 30, 2019 and August 31, 2019, respectively.

Mr. Muhammad Ali Khan, Chief Executive Officer at the Institute of Financial Markets Pakistan was the chief guest in the Orientation Ceremony of Diploma in Capital Market. The program was also attended by the faculty members teaching in the diploma programs.

The orientation ceremonies started with a brief documentary on all aspects of IBA shown to the students. After welcoming the students, the Mr. Muhammad Abdul Rehman briefed the new batch about the Code of Conduct, IBA Community, Academic Calendar, Attendance & Grading rules, and Affiliations. Later on, Mr. Muhammad Ali Khan, CEO at the Institute of Financial Markets Pakistan delivered comprehensive overviews of Diploma in Capital Market.

Mr. Jami Moiz, Director of Center for Executive Education, then congratulated the students in his welcome address and briefly talked about various aspects of the institute, mentioning that they are now officially part of the country's leading institute. He expressed his pleasure at the overwhelming response from the student body. While addressing to the freshmen, he mentioned: "We continue to update our program portfolio and design new programs based on inputs from industry and academia, thus ensuring that each program we deliver should be relevant, applicable, and based on evidence-based management concepts. We have collaborated with academic institutes and professional bodies of high repute. Our programs are designed for public and corporate sectors as well as for family businesses". Mr. Jami Moiz wished all the participants luck in their endeavors.
