Workshop on "Understanding the Nuts and Bolts of Qualitative Research"

March 11-12, 2023: The Office of Research Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC), IBA and Center for Executive Education (CEE), IBA Karachi jointly organized a 2-day workshop titled "Understanding the Nuts and Bolts of Qualitative Research" at IBA City Campus on March 11 and 12, 2023.

The workshop aimed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental principles and techniques of qualitative research. It was designed to cater to the needs of research scholars, faculty members, and professionals from diverse fields.

The workshop trainers included Dr. Mohammad Ayaz, Assistant Professor, IBA Karachi, Dr. Ashar Saleem, Assistant Professor, IBA Karachi, and Dr. Shoaib Ul Haq, Assistant Professor, IBA Karachi. They have extensive experience in conducting qualitative research and have published numerous research articles in reputable journals.

The workshop covered a range of topics, including research design, data collection methods, analysis techniques, and writing up the research findings. The trainers used a variety of interactive teaching methods, including case studies, group discussions, and hands-on exercises, to help participants understand the concepts and techniques of qualitative research.

Participants appreciated the trainers' expertise and their ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and easy-to-understand manner. The workshop provided a platform for networking and collaboration among participants, enabling them to share their research experiences and learn from one another.
