HR Leaders’ Networking Event

On May 01, 2024, the IBA Center for Executive Education (CEE), Karachi, in collaboration with the Pakistan Human Capital Forum (PHCF) Mehran Chapter, conducted a ground-breaking HR Leaders’ Networking Event, gathering more than 250 HR professionals representing various sectors.

The event commenced with a vibrant networking breakfast, setting the stage for an enriching morning ahead. Mr. Kamran Bilgrami, Director IBA - CEE, extended a warm welcome to all attendees and esteemed guests, outlining the Center’s commitment to fostering growth and development in both corporate and individual capacities.

Keynote speaker, Mr. Navaid M Khan, shared insights from his illustrious 60 years journey in executive education, and how executive education has evolved in Pakistan over time.

Mr. Adeel Anwar, Founder & President of PHCF, took the stage to introduce the forum's initiatives, emphasizing the importance of collaboration in driving industry-wide progress. He also expressed gratitude, inviting Mr. Aman Kherati (new convener Mehran Chapter PHCF) for a special thank you note.

Mr. Naushad Javaid took a session on emerging topics Performance Coaching & DEI and he emphasized the role of AI embedded HR & Role of HR in Fueling Startups.

A pivotal moment of the event transpired with the signing of an MoU between PHCF and the IBA - CEE. Dr. Abdullah Zafar Sheikh, Dean of the School of Business Studies and Mr. Adeel Anwar, President PHCF exchanged signatures, symbolizing a commitment to joint programs aimed at advancing industry standards.

The session continued with enlightening talks by esteemed speakers. Mr. Naeem Zamindar shed light on Financial Wellness, offering valuable insights for HR professionals to empower their workforce.

The event reached its conclusion with an impactful address by the Chief Guest, Mr. Muhammad Faisal, CEO of Kia Motors, Pakistan. His visionary remarks reinstated the essence of innovation and leadership, leaving attendees inspired and invigorated.
