PGD-SCM and PM 2024 participants visited the renowned organization "Maersk". The primary purpose of the visit was to minimize the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical implementation of different logistics concepts. The visit further developed an association between academia and industry. During the visit, participants were briefed by Shift Manager, about the handling, storage, loading, and unloading of containers to and from merchant ships. Its cargo handling services include pre-treatment of cargo and packing and stuffing of chilled commodities.
The participants thoroughly appreciated the visit for its learning and exposure.
