June 24 to 29, 2024: CEE at IBA organized a customized workshop on Public Financial Management for the Govt. Officials of Balochistan.
The program focused on enhancing the skills to implement Public Financial Management through modern methodologies including case studies, simulations, and exercises. This intensive training was meticulously structured to empower participants with in-depth knowledge and teaching methodologies in the realm of Public Financial Management.
Distinguished Govt. Officers delved into crucial topics such as the Political Economy of Financial Management, the PFM Act's federal vs. provincial aspects, Tax and Non-Tax Revenue Mobilization (with a focus on Balochistan), and more. Renowned experts like Dr. Kaiser Bengali shed light on the political economy's role in decision-making. Participants also honed their skills in developing teaching cases, methods, and assessment tools.
